Hi Ward 18 folks,

As promised, I've taken an inventory of the existing bike infrastructure on Dufferin Street between College and Queen. I got in touch with Michael Vieira in Ana Bailao's office and he said that Councillor Bailao has a meeting with planners this coming week (Feb 4-8) about details of the proposed infrastructure upgrade. She is apparently very open to our proposals for new ring-and-posts on the stretch of Dufferin that will be improved (Dundas to Peel, just north of the train tracks at Queen).

I've included recommendations for new R&Ps, as well as a bike lane (if we don't ask, we won't get, right?) on this stretch. Before I send it in this week, I'd be grateful for any comments ASAP. I'm sure this won't be the final meeting on the subject, but it wouldn't hurt to influence the process as early as possible.
