Bike union welcomes new staff and board members

Submitted by yvonne on 18 June, 2010 - 16:12

We are pleased to welcome our new Advocacy and Operations Director,
Andrea Garcia. She comes to the bike union with an academic background
in city planning and cycling infrastructure and experience in developing
advocacy campaigns in Florida.

As we expand our opportunities, we want to congratulate Yvonne Bambrick, who, over the past 16 months as Executive Director, tirelessly nurtured this organization, implemented projects, organized volunteers and created a media buzz that resulted in a frenzy of rapid growth.  As we move into the fortunate position of a two-director model, we congratulate Yvonne as she transitions into the role of Director of Communications and Events.

At our June 17th AGM, our membership also voted in 6 new board members!

We will be announcing our new slate of board members in the coming weeks so stay tuned.
